Please call us as soon as you realize you will not be able to keep your appointment. We ask that all cancellations be made at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. This will allow us to offer another patient this open appointment time.
It depends. Many health plans do not require a referral from your PCP. Medicare patients do not require referrals. If there is a question, we recommend that you call your insurance provider.
While we do not require blood tests prior to the visit, it is often helpful to have more data to review at the visit, leading to a more in depth conversation.
For the convenience of our patients, we offer in-office phlebotomy (blood draws).
Why Choose Our Clinic
We offer:
Acceptance of all patients and most health plans
A "boutique-style” approach, without concierge fees
Convenient morning and evening hours
Clear communication and compassion
An emphasis on educating and empowering you, the patient
A focus on healthy-eating and lifestyle impact
At WCA, we strive to offer “concierge” care, without the membership fee
We believe that all patients deserve access to comprehensive, personalized and reliable cardiovascular care at an affordable cost.
Our philosophy is based on a foundation of listening to you. We will never “force” you to do anything. We will always have a conversation with you about all the potential options for treatment or diagnosis, and collaboratively decide on a plan.
Independent Practice
Yes. WCA uses eClinicalWorks, an electronic medical records (EMR) program that communicates seamlessly with EPIC, the EMR platform employed by all local hospital systems.
Dr. Liberman maintains affiliations with the major local health systems and hospitals, including Aurora Grafton and Ascension Columbia-St.Mary’s Hospitals. As your cardiologist, he will coordinate and work closely with the inpatient care team.
Dr. Liberman will discuss with you the optimal locations tailored to your needs, as some systems are better equipped for select procedures
Dr. Liberman is a Non-Invasive Cardiologist and does not perform invasive procedures or surgeries. He has, however, strong relationships with surgeons and interventional cardiologists in every system. He will discuss with you who would be the best for your unique situation.
If you are having a life threatening emergency call 911.
WCA offers convenient early morning and select evening hours. An answering service handles after hours calls.
- For urgent needs, Dr. Liberman or another provider on call will return your call within 15 minutes.
- For non-urgent needs, the care team will return your call the next business day.
Financial Questions
Yes. We are able to accept almost all insurance plans
There are many reasons why a patient might want to pay directly for a visit or a procedure, rather than go through insurance. As a result, WCA also offers “cash” prices for all procedures and visits.
New patient visit: $400
Return visit: $300
ECG: $35
Exercise Treadmill Stress Test: $300
Echocardiogram: $600
Stress Echocardiogram: $1000
WCA is able to offer the exact same procedures and tests performed in the hospital, on the exact same equipment that the hospitals use, typically at a far more affordable price because we don’t have the overhead that large hospitals do.
The relationships we have with diagnostic lab companies allows us to offer a wide range of available tests as an affordable price.
Absolutely. We have the exact same equipment that the hospitals use, and Dr. Liberman is Board-Certified in Echocardiography and in Nuclear Cardiology. Additionally, the cost through insurance for these tests at WCA is significantly less than at the hospital.
